As Christ's body, we take very seriously the commitment we make at the baptism of each person, but particularly that of each child. We promise to nurture them, surrounding each one with a community of love and forgiveness. As one new member said, "It's hard to know which children belong to which parents because everyone loves all of them!" We do love our children, trusting that God uses the adults to teach the children. Yet we know that God frequently uses the children to demonstrate His truths to the adults. Our children enjoy lots of opportunities to fellowship and grow in the love of Christ through various activities, such as Easter egg hunts and Christmas dramas. A new addition to the children’s ministries is “Junior Youth” A program
of fun and fellowship for children ages 3 – 12. Our
children are always "in motion", from their monthly fun activities,
Wednesday night programs, the annual Vacation Bible School, the active Sunday School
classes and a Children's
Choir that truly praises and rejoices. Some of the
activities for this year include:
Horseback riding, Canoeing, Camp outs, Frankies’
