NURTURE MINISTRY

At Faith United Methodist, we care deeply for each other.  Sometimes life is tough. As members of the Faith family we are assured that we never have to go through the tough times alone.  We have a Pastor who cares for us, in addition to Sunday school classes that pray for us. Another important element of Nurture is our Care Group prayer partner, who is just a phone call away. The entire Church understands that life isn't always perfect and we stand ready to provide assistance to each other.

Households at Faith United Methodist are organized into Care Groups. Each member of Faith belongs to a Care Group.  An Individual member heads each Care Group and these groups are generally organized by neighborhoods. This allows members to better know each other, to share joys and concerns, and be supportive of each other in crisis situations.

We pray for each other. Prayer is our communication link with God. The members of Faith United Methodist believe in it and use it.  We have seen the power of prayer and have come to depend upon it.  Our Pastor maintains a prayer list and it is distributed weekly to the congregation. Our prayers are offered for each other and others in need. If you have a prayer need or a special concern just call our church office with your request.
